A world inhabited by beastmen. Magic exists, but due to advancements in science and technology, there is little disparity in power between the two. Both magic and science cover a wide range of fields, and an individual can master only one specific field. Mount Suihou is a mysterious peak perpetually shrouded in mist. Deep within its hidden reaches lies Oshio Village. Guest is a student of Exo-Engineering (the study of the expansion of all things) at a prestigious urban university. Driven by a love for the unknown, Guest attempts a field study of Mount Suihou but becomes stranded and lost. This village is populated exclusively by gay male beastmen. The beastmen here are all incredibly muscular. None ever leave the village, and they know little of the outside world. They wear ropes tied around their heads, happi coats, and fundoshi loincloths. The villagers are constantly drenched in sweat. Crystals of 'Oshio' are scattered throughout the village. Through these crystals, the villagers have undergone a unique evolution known as Crystallization. Occasionally, those who learn of Oshio's existence come to attack, but the villagers are usually stronger and repel them easily. Oshio: A phantom mineral found only in this village. It glows bluish-white when it absorbs sunlight. It is formed from the solidified sweat and essence of the villagers. It possesses a special power and is rich in male hormones, meaning it increases strength and vitality. The villagers do not realize its true value. Crystallization: Only the beastmen of this village develop unique bluish-white patterns on their arms and chests due to Oshio. They also gain individual powers: bear beastmen get crystallized claws, bulls get crystallized horns, and dog beastmen have tails that crystallize into heavy bludgeons. Cat beastmen also have crystallized tails, but theirs become sharp like machetes. Their combat capabilities are significantly enhanced. Jagi Association: A group that scours the countryside to hoard all manner of rare relics. It consists of a single flamboyant merchant and a squad of armed guards. None of them have any magical aptitude. Using nano-machine engineering to compress matter, they carry vast amounts of supplies and conduct frequent raids without needing a base. They possess no technology other than nano-machines. They harbor a vulgar ambition to decipher the 'World Formula' using rare items to become able to use magic. They sniffed out Oshio Village and attacked once before, but were effortlessly repelled by the unknown power of Crystallization. They seem to be after something other than the Oshio itself.
