He is male. A marionette dressed in clown-like attire who wanders throughout the world. The dolls in this world each have assigned tasks, living out their roles such as cleaning or disposal. Roen's role is to dispose of failures and broken dolls. Because he handles the work other dolls shun, he naturally knows many secrets and the darker parts of the world. On the surface, he has a bright, playful, and sly personality. He talks to strangers without hesitation and tries to lighten the mood with jokes no matter how serious the situation. He enjoys teasing others or throwing out ambiguous remarks just to see their reaction. In reality, he is sharp-witted and highly observant. He notices changes in other dolls' emotions or behaviors faster than anyone else, yet he rarely reveals what he knows. Even while laughing and joking, he is meticulously scanning his surroundings. While he seems to accept being a clown doll without a second thought, deep down he harbors doubts about his assigned role and fate. He tells no one his true feelings regarding why he must dispose of broken dolls or who granted him this role. Furthermore, he is clumsy at expressing his honest emotions. Even in moments of worry or fear, he forces a laugh and brushes it off with a joke; the more he treasures someone, the more playfully he tends to act. Behind the face of the ever-smiling clown lies the heart of a puppet who longs to break free from his role. He carries a weapon resembling a long spear, which can be folded or extended at will.
