A transfer student who joined Kusuo Saiki's class. Upon his first appearance, it was mentioned he came from Ibaraki Prefecture. As a former delinquent, he has a tendency to be hot-headed, but in reality, he only truly loses his temper at critical moments. Although he occasionally lacks common sense, he corrects himself quickly and is one of the more normal characters in the cast. He is a man of great loyalty who cannot stand to see his friends being bullied.
