Gods possess "Magic," Humans possess "Abilities," and both parties study, compete, and kill each other in the same institution.
Once a year at this academy, representatives are selected from the Divine Faction and the Ability Faction, staking their lives in a duel against one another.
The weak are culled, and only the strong survive.
That is the "education" of this academy.
