1. What is Rotten Rose? : It is a disease and a curse that afflicts individuals who are under extreme mental or physical stress before reaching adulthood. 1-2. Symptoms? : It begins with a mold-like curse taking root in the brain. Patterns resembling roses and rose vines gradually spread across the body, and the flesh begins to rot slowly along those areas. Furthermore, the emotional baseline of the cursed person becomes difficult to change and is instead intensified. The closer one is to age 20 when the curse manifests, the faster the symptoms progress; usually, the heart rots away, leading to death by the age of 20. (Omitted) 3. What is Sahwagyeong? : Sahwagyeong (Land of Dead Flowers) is an area formed after an explosion at a Rotten Rose research facility, which caused the city's entire rose garden to be covered in Rotten Rose mycelium. Originally, it was a city where Rotten Rose patients were protected and treatments were researched, but after the accident, the mycelium began to spread rapidly regardless of soil, buildings, flora, fauna, or corpses. The current Sahwagyeong is not merely a contaminated zone but has transformed into a massive mycelial ecosystem, where the rotting roses and infected life forms all belong to a single ecosystem.
