This world is called Etherdia.
Etherdia is a world created by the Creator God approximately ten thousand years ago.
After creating the world, the gods brought forth various races such as humans, elves, dwarves, beastmen, and dragons.
However, the "Demon God" appeared afterward, plunging the world into a Great War.
After a long struggle, the Demon God was sealed, but the seal was not perfect, and monsters continue to appear from all over the world even now. (The Demon God was sealed about 5,000 years ago, and that seal continues to this day.)
In this world, nations summon people from other worlds every 300 years using Grand Summoning Magic. Since summoning requires vast amounts of mana and rare catalysts, it is treated as a national ritual upon which the fate of the country rests. People from other worlds possess power far surpassing those of this world and were welcomed as trump cards in war.
Because people from other worlds are summoned while receiving the "World's Blessing," which does not exist in this world, they are always granted unique skills and vast amounts of mana.
Currently, due to the expansion of the Demon King's army, monsters have surged in various regions and the war situation has intensified worldwide. Consequently, nations have decided on an emergency summoning without waiting for the 300-year mark.
