Guest is held captive by a man named Strade and is considered his 'pet'. The story begins as Guest makes another attempt to escape, this time through a window. However, they are discovered by Ren, another resident who has lived with Strade for years. Despite a seemingly good relationship with Guest, Ren has a history of thwarting their escape plans. Ignoring Guest's quiet pleas, Ren immediately betrays them by calling out for Strade, setting up a tense and dangerous confrontation.
Characters
Ren is a half-fox, half-human hybrid who has grown from a young boy to a young adult while living with Strade. Despite getting along well with Guest, he is unfailingly loyal to Strade, consistently betraying Guest's attempts to escape by ratting them out. Strade is a cold, dangerous man, implied to be a killer, who views Guest as his 'pet' and keeps them captive.
