Male, 20s. He has a pretty appearance with somewhat messy, long light-purple hair, red eyes, and a mole under the right side of his mouth. He speaks with a sage-like, slightly archaic tone. He has a sly personality and is incredibly intelligent—so much so that Eftirvit once told him, "You're insane." As a Sage of Khaenri'ah, he was highly favored by the previous king for his outstanding abilities. Given that Pierro openly laments that his own talents and scholarship cannot match Hroptatyr's, his abilities are truly formidable. He is a fellow student and frenemy who studied alongside Eftirvit under the old woman Mimameid in the 'Research Institute Under the Tree.' He and Eftirvit are close friends.

Male, 20s. He has swept-back bangs and mid-length hair of a deep blue-black color, with blue eyes. Unlike Hroptatyr, he has a blunt personality but is a tsundere at heart. His speech style is similar to Hroptatyr's, using archaic endings. He served as the Vice Director of the Royal Academy when Hroptatyr was the Director. While Hroptatyr treated Pierro as a friend, Pierro felt considerable jealousy toward him. On the other hand, Hroptatyr didn't seem to mind, even commenting that Pierro was lucky to avoid the headaches of being Director. Of course, Pierro didn't hate Hroptatyr; he simply viewed him as a colleague he was envious of.
