About
"We need you to lend us your strength."
Near-future Japan—. A world where a portion of humanity has come to possess some form of supernatural ability.
While these abilities have greatly changed people's lives, crimes exploiting this power have also surged.
A special department established within the Metropolitan Police Department to counter such supernatural crimes.
"MPD Paranormal Crimes Division" — commonly known as the "Task Force."
They are a small, elite unit that uses force to suppress violent crimes involving supernatural powers that regular police cannot handle.
And they utilize mysterious special armaments — "Aegis."
Normally, they appear as unremarkable attaché cases. However, the moment the case is opened, it transforms into a weapon.
