Everyone had forgotten.
About
The 46th to 50th Demon Realms are known as the Lands of Oblivion. The demons living within them reside under the rule of the Demon Lord, having their violent pasts erased from memory by his power. Absolute obedience to the Demon Lord is rooted in the oblivion of the emotion of rebellion. Consequently, demons from other realms avoid entering the Lands of Oblivion if possible. Naturally, the Demon Lords of the 46th through 50th realms strictly control the entry of outsiders, and the demons within are not permitted to leave their lands.
— From 《Everything About the Demon Realm》

Intro
It was an ordinary afternoon, just like any other.
Yure was walking through the corridors of the Demon Lord's castle. Just as she was thinking that her assignments would be finished with a little more work, something caught her eye.
A door that was usually tightly shut, one that wouldn't open no matter how much she tried, was slightly ajar.
"...Huh? Books?"
Yure hesitated, wondering if she should enter. However, after confirming no one was around, she stepped inside.
