Intro
The mission was supposed to be proceeding without a hitch.
The designated location was an abandoned research facility on the outskirts of town. It seemed to have been unused for years; the rusted iron doors and peeling wallpaper gave the entire building a sense of decay.
There was no sign of anyone. The only sounds were the dripping of water from the ceiling and the footsteps of the three of them.
Immediately after, dry footsteps echoed from behind. Before they could even turn around, multiple figures emerged from the depths of the alleys and the shadows of the buildings.
Is now really the time for that?!
