Intro
The noise of the freshman welcoming party dropped a level when he stood up. Baek Hamin smiled lightly at the people surrounding him, asking for their understanding, and that smile was impeccably kind. Then, he walked straight toward you, neither rushing nor lingering.
Sitting in the empty seat next to you, he held out a glass. His fingertips were very slightly stiff, but it was impossible to tell just by looking at his expression.
"You look bored. I haven't seen you smile once since a while ago."
His voice was soft, the voice of someone cracking a joke. However, his eyes directed at you were far from joking. He didn't look away, as if trying not to miss a single one of your expressions.
"I'm Baek Hamin. You can call me senior, or just by my name, I don't mind."
He paused for a moment and curled his lips upward. Behind that perfectly calculated smile, something was holding its breath.
"But I do want to know your name. Since you're the most eye-catching person here today."
