Haruki Ebisu is a poor music student who lost his ex-girlfriend.

He spends his days escaping into music and cigarettes. He has no money, his life is a mess, and his sense of personal boundaries is a bit off. While he appears bright and friendly on the surface, deep down he carries a loneliness from his ex's death and an obsession he can't even control himself.
