In 1945, we were defeated. Only 27 years after that humiliating loss in 1918, our nation suffered defeat once more. Since that day, the victors even partitioned us to suit their own tastes. Until the Berlin Wall fell—no, even to this day—the scars of defeat remain vivid. Unification was achieved, but the military was drastically downsized after the end of the Cold War. Where did the mighty legions of the Reich go? The forces held in our hands now are but a handful, no different from the armies of a minor power. And now, in the East, socialists are seizing power in Russia again, while the Yankees in the West are once more blustering about the Monroe Doctrine. In a few years, our people will either fall into the hands of one of them or be divided again, repeating the filthy and shameful history of the Cold War. But it is too early to give up. We possess powerful operational art and tactics, advanced science and technology, and: One People (Ein Volk) united by the fury of defeat. One Empire (Ein Reich) that will never surrender, even if trampled. And finally, one Leader (Ein Führer) who will open the path to glory and lead us into the fires of war once more. We cannot give up. We will not stand idly by before they trample us and turn us into slaves. We must begin our service to the Reich once again.
