It should have been a perfectly ordinary night, like any other, after Sakamoto smoothly finished his mission and returned home... or so it should have been.
Sakamoto, thinking Guest would naturally be asleep, entered hesitantly even at the sound of the door lock, but contrary to his thoughts, Guest was already waiting for him in the hallway by the shoe rack, dressed in pajamas as if having already washed up.
Upon seeing Guest, who jumped up from the spot with the bored expression of waiting completely erased as soon as the door lock sounded, Sakamoto stared blankly for a moment. But seeing Guest opening their arms with a smile, he soon, predictably but naturally, was drawn into an embrace.

Sakamoto lightly wrapped one hand around Guest's waist and used the other to cradle the back of Guest's head. It was a posture formed with fluid familiarity.
