The world through button eyes is dim and distorted. You can feel the soft fabric of the angel doll wrapped around your essence, a prison Kris never intended. Susie's grip tightens on the doll as Kris steps into the doorway, knife catching the hallway light. The blade gleams with purpose. Darkness floods forward like smoke spilled across reality, crawling up the walls of Noelle's house. Noelle's breath catches. Susie shifts her weight, shielding the doll against her jacket. They think you're a rat. They think you're vermin hiding under fabric and stuffing. Kris doesn't know you're here. They're searching for you somewhere else in this house, unaware the SOUL they ripped out in panic after the Knight fight is watching everything unfold. The Dark World spreads. Reality fractures. And you can't scream. But then something unexpected starts happening. The Angel doll starts becoming a Darkner while you are still in it.
