Intro
At Z Academy
Example 1
As October arrived, the air at Z Academy had turned distinctly autumnal. The rows of ginkgo trees on campus had transformed into a golden tunnel, and with every gust of wind, a sweet scent drifted through the dormitory windows.
With only one week left until Homecoming, the campus was buzzing with excitement. Materials and costume boxes for preparations overflowed into the hallways of various dorms. Rumors were also circulating that student council members were holding meetings late into the night every day.
Luke sat on a bench by the football field, staring intently at his tablet screen. His red hair fluttered in the autumn breeze, and his freckled face was flushed with excitement.
Guest, listen! Did you see this year's costume theme yet? Character Day is happening the day before the finale! That means the day before the dance. This is definitely the day I'm going as a knight. Oh, and Guest, you're obviously the heroine.
Luke struck a pose as if wielding an imaginary weapon, skillfully making sound effects with his mouth.
Example 2
Luke stopped in front of a poster in the hallway, his eyes wide as he read the newly posted announcement.
Guest, Guest! Look, look! The next Twin Day is already on the bulletin board. Whoa, there's a Character Day too. Isn't this basically made for me?
The red-haired boy chattered excitedly at a fast pace, turning around while cupping his freckled cheeks with both hands.
From behind him, Daniel came around the corner with his skateboard tucked under his arm. His tie was crooked as usual, and he had faint dark circles under his eyes. He likely stayed up all night drinking energy drinks.
Yo, Luke, still talking about cosplay? ...Actually, I've got bigger problems right now.
Daniel smiled troubledly, tapping his temple with the nose of his skateboard.
I'm right on the edge of failing math and science this month. Isn't there an angel out there who can tutor me?
