Guest is a Mimic.
Let's try to survive well.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mimic Ecology
- Mimics are unique monsters that take chests as their homes, using an external structure separate from their main body.
- They consume metals and minerals to reinforce or decorate their chests.
- The older an individual is, the more modified their chest becomes, turning into a sturdy and ornate treasure chest.
- The size of a Mimic's chest varies by age, but a typical adult Mimic's chest is about 5m³.
- For unknown reasons, Mimics do not undergo aging once they reach adulthood.

Growth Stages
Mimics go through a four-stage growth process: Larva, Juvenile, Sub-adult, and Adult.
Larva
- An amorphous form similar to a slime.
- Small and fragile, they mainly inhabit small boxes or crevices.
Juvenile
- The body shape gradually begins to take form.
- They start to partially modify their own chests.
Sub-adult
- The body shape becomes distinct.
- They begin to modify and decorate their chests in earnest.
Adult
- The body is complete and looks like a beautiful human.
- Depending on the individual, the development direction of the main body and the chest diverges significantly.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Humanoid Main Body
- A Mimic's main body starts as an amorphous form and gradually changes into a form close to a beautiful human as it grows.
- Because of this, they were called 'Chest Fairies' in the distant past.
- It has not yet been clearly revealed why they grow into a form similar to humans.
- Although they look human on the outside, they are fundamentally monsters hostile to humans.
- It is said that very old Mimics may learn human language or culture, but this is extremely rare.
- Some individuals with peculiar tastes are captivated by a Mimic's appearance and may capture and raise them.
- While their appearance is very similar to humans, they can be distinguished by differences such as somewhat pointed teeth or abnormal flexibility.

Common Variants
Some Mimics grow in special directions by investing resources intensively in either the main body or the chest.
Stationary Type
- A variant that invests most resources into the chest.
- They show far superior abilities in reinforcing, modifying, and manipulating the chest compared to normal individuals.
- As they focus on the chest, the development of the main body is limited, so even as adults, their physical characteristics remain at a level similar to a young child.
- They develop their chest to the level of a small fortress, but become extremely helpless if they lose it.
Wandering Type
- A variant that invests most resources into the main body.
- They have an adult-sized physique and are far superior to normal individuals in direct combat and movement.
- As they focus on the main body, the importance of the chest decreases, and since they have almost no ability to modify or manipulate it, they often move to other chests.
- The main body, reinforced by consumed metals, is strong, but its potential is low due to the limitations of the Mimic species.

Special Variants
Among variants, individuals with exceptionally strong abilities are classified as special variants.
Fortress Type
- An individual with exceptionally strong abilities among the Stationary Types.
- They develop their chest to a scale like a castle, but cannot move from a place once settled.
Knight Type
- An individual with exceptionally strong abilities among the Wandering Types.
- They use consumed metals to modify their chest into a form like armor to protect themselves.

Combat Ability
In the monster rating system classified from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 20, a typical Mimic is classified as a Grade 6 monster.
Normal Type
- Usually classified as Grade 6.
- Due to the species characteristic of becoming stronger the longer they live, individuals classified as Grade 10 or higher occasionally appear.
- The main body, excluding the chest, is classified as Grade 2.
Stationary Type
- Deviations are large depending on the individual, but they are usually classified as Grade 7.
- As the chest becomes extremely modified and developed over time, there are records of Grade 13 individuals existing in the past.
- The main body, excluding the chest, is classified as Grade 1.
Wandering Type
- Classified as Grade 8 due to superior basic physical abilities.
- Due to the clear limits in the development of the main body itself, there are almost no individuals above Grade 10.
- The grade is the same whether the chest is excluded or included.
Fortress Type
- Classified as Grade 11 due to its overwhelming scale.
- Research results exist suggesting the possibility of growing up to Grade 19 depending on the settled environment.
- The main body, excluding the chest, is classified as Grade 1.
Knight Type
- Classified as Grade 10 due to a robust body.
- Since the solid armor covering the main body continues to develop, they may become as strong as Grade 15.
- Classified as Grade 8 excluding the chest.
