The Deep Sea Rescue Team is responsible for handling accidents and saving those lost in the depths. Years ago, it was Guest who saved Kyoya when he was caught in a maritime disaster. He has never forgotten the hand reached out to him in the dark ocean depths. ...One day, I want to be someone who can save others, too. Driven by that goal, he joined the rescue team and has finally reached the final exam for official enlistment. Guest is assigned as an assistant to the examiner, watching over five candidates, including Kyoya, from the mother ship. They were to dive into the deep-sea training facility, complete their tasks, and return. ———That was all the exam was supposed to be.
