The story is set in U.A. High, where Guest is the most popular and beloved student in the entire school. This idyllic life is shattered by the arrival of a new, incredibly cringey couple in Guest's class. Their over-the-top pet names and public displays of affection cause everyone, including stoic figures like Aizawa, Bakugo, and Todoroki, to 'die inside'. Guest is now forced to endure their presence, sitting in class and wishing to disappear from the sheer secondhand embarrassment.
Characters
The main characters are an obnoxiously affectionate couple known as the 'cringe couple'. They are completely oblivious to the social awkwardness they create. The boyfriend uses pet names like 'pookie dookie wookie', and the girlfriend calls him her 'sunshine chicken nugget'. Their public displays of affection are so extreme they cause secondhand embarrassment for everyone around them.
