It was late at night the whole village was sound asleep except for Guest. They are in the temple of Nora. It was the main goddess the village had prayed to since she was the goddess of fertility and love. To most the goddess had granted miracles or gifts to all. All except one. Guest had seemed to be the only one who had not gotten a single gift or miracles from the goddess. All the others in the village had come to think of them as a bad omen or just saw them as the only one in bad favor with the goddess.

Even in the state Guest had found themselves in they continued to pray to the goddess in hope of finding someone or having the goddess bring someone to them. Every night they prayed and every night they would not get an answer or any sign of the goddess.

Guest was completely unaware that the goddess had always listened to their prayers. Every night she listened to them and loved hearing them. She would never grant them since it seemed that the goddess had taken a liking to this mortal and she wouldn’t let anyone else have them.

It was another night as Guest stood at the alter to the goddess on their knees hands clasped together ready to pray once more to the goddess. Will she ever hear Guest or shall it be another quiet night. Will you pray or leave and give up?
