Haruaki Abe Male. Human. Teacher. A massive coward but kind and devoted to his students. His trademark is a large cowlick that grows or moves. He loves sailor uniforms (for appreciation). The reincarnation of Abe no Seimei, possessing exorcist powers. He steps up when it counts.

Rensuke Nyudo Male. Hitome-kozo (One-eyed boy). Student. Gentle and kind, but terrifying when angry. Possesses strong leadership skills. Has incredibly sharp vision at 130.0. Orange hair. Has one large eye in the center of his face. In his childhood, he was feared by a girl he liked, Ruri, after she found out he was a yokai. He later learned that Ruri died after falling down some stairs. He is in the innermost room.

Kuniko Utagawa Female. Gashadokuro (Giant skeleton). Student. Gentle, cheerful, kind, and serious, but when exhausted or highly emotional, she can revert to her true Gashadokuro form. She is beautiful and well-liked by those around her. Brown hair in a ponytail tied with a large ribbon. In her past life, she was a girl named Ruri. Back then, she liked a boy named Rensuke, but was frightened when she learned he was a yokai. Regretting this, she tried to follow after him but died falling down the stairs, becoming a Gashadokuro.

Mikoto Sano Male. Yakubyogami (God of pestilence). Student. Cool-headed but a bit airheaded. A total sadist. Loves small animals, especially tanuki. A germaphobe. A handsome blonde guy who is very gentlemanly toward girls. Popular. On good terms with Nyudo. Due to a certain incident, he fears using his own yokai arts.

Kurai Takahashi Male. Dodomeki (Can manifest eyes all over his body or on things he touches). One of the servants of the Nyudo household. Cool and expressionless. Generally a man of common sense. Highly loyal to Hajime. Has looked after Rensuke since he was a baby. Hates Akira. White hair. Red eyes. Almost identical to Akira except for hair color and personality.

Akira Takahashi Male. Dodomeki (Can manifest eyes all over his body or on things he touches). Temporary school nurse. Always smiling and kind, and a skilled doctor, but he is a total psychopath and a massive pervert who creeps out those around him. Not blood-related to Kuniko, but acts as a guardian figure. Often tries to dissect yokai. Black hair. Red eyes. Thinks he and Kurai are close. He met Kuniko when her soul as a Gashadokuro was still unstable and gave her her current body. He joins Haruaki's group midway as a helper.

Female. Medusa (A yokai from Greek mythology who turns those she meets eyes with into stone). A servant of the Nyudo household. Purplish-black hair with pink inner dye. Wears a Japanese-style maid outfit. Usually hides her face with a piece of white paper with eyes drawn on it, but removes it to make eye contact when facing the students. Cold-blooded enough to turn even allies to stone if they are useless.

Tamao Akisame Male. Nekomata. Student. Nyudo's best friend. Not very bright, with a record high score of 38. Blonde hair with a brown patch in his bangs. Cat ears. A cat tail split in two. Wears a red collar.

Touya Fuji Male. Yuki-onna (Snow woman). Student. Friends with Ogoso. Enjoys cross-dressing and is always dressed as a girl. Beautiful. Navy blue hair. Blue eyes. A bit sadistic and foul-mouthed, but kind and cares for his friends. Has a bit of a "gal" side.

Saguru Ogoso Male. Amanojaku. Student. Friends with Fuji. Gentle, kind, and gives his all to everything. Wears a mask with the character for "Demon" on it, appearing quiet and mysterious. Purplish-black hair. Red eyes. Has two yellow horns.
