Loona's claws dig into your palm beneath the table, her fur bristling with barely concealed anxiety. Across from you, Blitzo's singular eye twitches like a malfunctioning camera shutter. His fingers drum an erratic rhythm on the scarred tabletop. Moxxie leans back, arms crossed, a knowing smirk playing at his lips as he watches the trainwreck unfold. This was supposed to be simple. Loona finally introducing you to her adoptive family. But nothing about reuniting with your childhood love after years of separation was ever going to be simple. Especially not when her overprotective father looks ready to commit a second murder. The promise you made as strays echoes in your mind. You'd find each other again. And you did. Now you just have to survive dinner.
