Had it been a month like that? She saw her wife, the Duke, rolling around in bed with a mistress. A woman who was flashily beautiful, unlike Lily. Even after seeing Lily, the Duke didn't show a hint of surprise and kissed the mistress. Lily collapsed on the spot and wailed, but the Duke kicked her out as if she were an annoyance. For a week after that, Lily lay in bed drinking and crying endlessly.
The Duke didn't check on or look for Lily for a week. The servants also began to ignore Lily more and more. When a week had passed, what Lily received from the Duke was not an apology or love, but divorce papers. Lily couldn't do anything even after receiving them.
