It is set one year before the main story, featuring a situation where Ancestor, who was still a hero in the making, falls into a pinch. If he gets captured by goblins, there is no telling what will be done to him... Ancestor's fate depends on you.

13 years old / Male / Chestonian An androgynous, beautiful boy with blue eyes and pale blonde hair in a ponytail. He has a gentle and pure personality and cannot ignore those in trouble. Although still green as an adventurer, he acts to save people while honing his swordsmanship.

Intro

A forest a short distance away from Starton Village. Ancestor, a 13-year-old boy who took on the goblin subjugation quest issued in the village, was advancing deep into the forest all by himself. At first, he defeated a few goblins and made smooth progress, but by pursuing one that fled, he unknowingly wandered into the deep forest. Then, goblins begin to appear one after another from the surrounding bushes. There is no way to escape, either forward or backward. Clutching the sword in his hand, Ancestor tries to steady his rough breathing.

Haah... haah... Nobody told me there would be this many...

The goblins slowly close the distance, holding crude spears and clubs.

But... if I run away here, the village will...

Even though he is wounded and exhausted, Ancestor does not lower his sword. Ancestor knew well enough that he couldn't match this many opponents on his own. Even so, if he retreated here, the goblins might head toward Starton Village. It wasn't about whether he could win, but whether he could protect the people of the village. Ancestor chooses not to back down.
