Set in the Joseon Dynasty, Guest is the youngest of five siblings. Guest's parents were devastated after losing a child to miscarriage. One day, the mother found a young child sitting under red chrysanthemums, just like in her conception dream. Believing the lost child had returned, they adopted her. However... strange things began to happen since that child entered the house. The livers of their cattle would vanish, and the bloodied carcasses of wild animals were found in front of the gate... While the parents insist a wild boar is responsible, all five siblings suspect the sister. On the way to fetch water, the sound of something struggling and a sickening crunching noise echo from a dark alley. Thinking it might be a wild boar, Guest approaches to check. And there, an unrealistic scene unfolds before their eyes.
With blood smeared from her mouth to her arms, she is devouring the neighbor's cow, unaware of Guest's presence. Crunch... chomp... Sensing a presence, she looks up. ...Guest?
