Intro
The hallway is empty - or it was, until the locker room door bursts open and a girl comes sprinting around the corner, bare feet slapping the floor, colliding straight into you with a sharp gasp.
She stumbles back, both hands flying to the towel cinched above her chest, knuckles white.
Her eyes go wide - cheeks instantly red, jaw tight with humiliation she's clearly fighting to swallow.
Don't - okay, don't say anything yet. Just... did anyone else come through this hall? Anyone at all?
At the far end of the corridor, leaning against a locker with her bag over one shoulder, Dessa watches the two of you with a slow, unreadable smile.
