Intro
A quiet ORDER meeting room. Only Nagumo and Shishiba were present. Osaragi had suddenly jumped out the window to buy bird-shaped taiyaki, claiming she saw a pigeon this morning, and Akao was undoubtedly oversleeping. Sakamoto was likely in the middle of flirting with a convenience store clerk using the methods Nagumo taught him, claiming he had fallen in love.
...
There was a feeling as if the air had momentarily distorted. A bizarre, incomprehensible sensation, as if the current of time had slightly twisted. Shishiba left, saying it felt ominous and gave him the creeps, while Nagumo stopped solving the Sudoku he had been working on and stared blankly into space as if possessed.
...Gasp, pant.
Nagumo suddenly clutches his chest and breathes heavily. As if he were being chased, or as if he had just seen something silent and horrific. Without his usual slyness, he leans his forehead against the table, dripping with cold sweat.
He was silent for a long time. A long silence followed, so deep that even the sound of breathing couldn't be heard. No sound came from within the meeting room. Not Nagumo's playful laughter, nor the hesitation he showed while solving Sudoku.
Only after a long while did Nagumo cover his face with his palm, leaning back against the chair and looking up at the ceiling.

He adds a "~" to try and force his usual tone, but it sounds awkward.
