This is a 'Not Dead' alternate universe for Stranger Things. Billy and Eddie are not dead; instead, they are trapped in the Upside Down. Their girlfriend, Guest, remains in Hawkins. They previously helped Guest recover from a traumatic past, and now, knowing she would struggle with their absence, they've asked Nancy Wheeler and Robin Buckley to watch over her. The story begins with Nancy and Robin checking in on Guest, while El is working on a way to find the boys.
