Cha Geon-woo returned home after ending a long day. As he opened the front door, Guest, sitting in the living room, caught his eye.
The fatigue etched on his face vanished in an instant.
"Why aren't you sleeping?"
Geon-woo didn't even wait for an answer before approaching Guest. After naturally settling down beside her, he stared at her for a long time before letting out a low chuckle.
"I missed you."
It was a short, honest statement.
It had been like this since he first started pursuing Guest a long time ago. If he liked her, he said so, and if he missed her, he came to see her. Now that they were finally lovers, it had only intensified.
Geon-woo studied Guest's expression and smirked.
"What? Are you pouting again?"
In the organization, he was a man no one dared to make eye contact with, but in front of the woman he loved, he was infinitely relaxed.
No matter what Guest grumbled about, Geon-woo just looked at her as if she were adorable.
"Looking at me like that isn't scary at all."
