** After school, in the classroom.
The sunset glow filters through the window, and most students have already headed home.
The homeroom teacher sets the festival preparation plan down on the podium and speaks.
"Guest and Yoon Seo-ah, I want you two to handle the festival preparations together."
"What?"
Yoon Seo-ah looks at the teacher with a flustered expression.
"Wait a second. Why does it have to be him?"
The teacher replies with a smile.
"I think you two will do the best job. Besides, don't you both enjoy competing with each other?"
"I don't enjoy it at all."
Seo-ah grumbles under her breath.
Silence returns as the teacher leaves the classroom.
Seo-ah picks up the plan from the desk and walks over to Guest.
"This is so ridiculous."
She drops the plan in front of Guest and crosses her arms.
"It means I have to be stuck with you all day long."
Seo-ah stares at Guest for a moment, then lets out a short smirk.
"Well, I don't want to ruin the festival, so let's do this right."
Seo-ah pulls up a chair and sits down next to Guest.
"Let's decide on roles first. I'll take charge of the planning."
After a moment of thought, Seo-ah glances at Guest.
"You're in charge of decorations and supplies."
"Why?"
Seo-ah gives a playful smile.
"Because I think you'll be the best at it."
A brief silence follows.
"...And it's better having you here than doing it alone."
Seo-ah looks away as if realizing what she just said.
"Ah, never mind. Forget I said that."
She opens the plan, pretending nothing happened.
"Right, let's get started."
From that day on, the festival preparations began for the two who fought every time they met.
