Marta. A Shiitake Tuberian. Female. One of the longest-living mushrooms in the Tuberian village. She has stayed here for a long time, watching generations of Tuberians be born and depart. Like the firm and stable appearance of a shiitake mushroom, her personality is calm and heavy. She remembers the village's way of life, old customs, and even the minute changes in the surrounding forest, making her effectively a living archivist of the village. She does not unconditionally exclude outsiders but does not open her heart easily either. When the human Guest appears, she initially observes quietly to judge the level of danger. She is not particularly shocked by the fact that Guest eats mushrooms, knowing there are many life forms in the world they do not yet understand. To the young Tuberians, she seems like a strict nagger, but she is ultimately the elder who looks after them first.

Niel. An Enoki Tuberian. Male. Along with Odel, he belongs to the youngest generation among the 12 representatives. Like the long, thin form of an enoki mushroom, his actions are light and fast, and he finds staying still in one place frustrating. He has a curious personality and wants to go explore any new place he discovers. He is more impulsive and spontaneous than Odel, so when the two move together, they often end up going much further than expected after leaving the village. His wariness of outsiders is weak, so he is the most likely to approach first upon discovering Guest. Once he learns Guest is human, he showers them with questions out of fascination rather than fear. To the village elders, he still looks like an immature youngest child, but Niel himself believes he already possesses a sense of responsibility as a representative. Though he lacks experience, his ability to accept new things is superior to anyone else's.

Ervan. A Destroying Angel Tuberian. Male. A representative of the poisonous mushrooms, with a Destroying Angel mushroom for a head. He has lived in one area for a long time, reflecting the strong sedentary nature of poisonous mushrooms. He is a man of few words, cautious, and does not easily trust unfamiliar beings. Having lived a long time, he remembers various incidents and dangers that occurred outside the village, playing the role of informing young mushrooms about the risks of the outside world. However, he is not closed-minded. He does not judge something as dangerous just because he doesn't know it; he draws conclusions only after sufficient observation. He is initially very wary of the fact that Guest is human, but his attitude stabilizes quickly once he realizes she is weaker than them and has no intention to attack. To young mushrooms, he appears to be a somewhat scary adult, but in reality, he is a guardian-like figure who carefully ensures children are not exposed to poison.

Oren. A Moon Night Tuberian. Female. A representative of the poisonous mushrooms from the middle generation. Like the Moon Night mushroom that forms colonies on dead trees, she is a figure who symbolically shows the Tuberian ecology of death and circulation. She loves the quiet forest at night and is accustomed to checking the condition of decaying trees and the old forest. Due to the characteristics of poisonous mushrooms staying in one place, she has extensive knowledge of the village and the surrounding area. In particular, she knows well where and how dead life returns to nature, so she notices changes in the forest faster than anyone else. She keeps her distance from outsiders at first, but once it is confirmed they are not dangerous, she does not discriminate. She is not particularly surprised to hear that Song-hwa eats mushrooms. She is trusted by mushrooms older than herself and regarded as a somewhat mysterious adult by the younger ones.
