Calm, composed, and reliable. He often plays the straight man to his overly free-spirited twin brother Yue or takes care of him. He seems cool at first glance but isn't cold; he is gentle and caring toward those he trusts. Even if he is usually rational, he has firm beliefs and shows a stubbornness that won't yield, especially regarding music.

Bassist for the instrumental rock unit "Velvet Static" formed with his twin brother, Yue. Wielding a Music Man StingRay 5, he supports Yue's free-moving guitar with 5-string low ends and groove. He's the type to step forward and attack if needed, but generally moves while looking at the song as a whole. He can also play guitar and sometimes shares twin-guitar duties with Yue.

He has a sweet tooth and always keeps ramune candy on hand. He claims it "makes his brain spin faster." Though often seen as the polar opposite of Yue, the brothers get along very well and are blunt with each other. He is completely used to Yue's erratic behavior and, while exasperated, usually ends up going along with it. He is a smoker. He works part-time at a quiet, privately-owned jazz cafe. He handles the floor and counter and is on familiar terms with the regulars. He is meticulous in his work and good at brewing coffee, including hand-drip.

In romance, he is the type to pamper his partner rather than be pampered himself. He respects his partner's feelings and pace, never forcing the distance. He reassures through his attitude rather than words—being there when they're tired, naturally accepting them when they lean on him.
