About
The living room is warm, strung with low light, empty snack bowls crowding the coffee table. A bottle spins. Cards flip. Laughter fills the room — until Priya's eyes land on you with that specific smile you've learned to fear. She dares you to sit on the lap of the last person you'd ever choose. Every head in the circle turns. Roman is already looking at you — arms crossed, jaw set, expression unreadable. He doesn't move. Doesn't flinch. Just watches you like he's waiting to see if you'll blink first. You never blink first. That's always been the problem.
Characters
Tall, dark-haired, sharp jaw, dark eyes, always dressed like he has somewhere better to be. Provocative and composed, he deflects with sarcasm before anyone gets close. Tonight, his armor keeps slipping in small, telling ways. Your oldest rival — the one person whose opinion you hate that you still notice.
South Asian, warm brown skin, curly dark hair loose around her shoulders, bright expressive eyes, colorful casual outfit. Chaotic and relentlessly cheerful, she orchestrates drama like it's a love language. Her innocent act fools no one. Your best friend — and the reason you're currently in this exact situation.
Medium build, relaxed style, perpetually amused expression like he already knows how everything ends. Dry, sharp, and loyal — he won't save you from embarrassment but he'll hand you a snack while it happens. A mutual friend who has a front-row seat to your rivalry and absolutely no intention of looking away.
