Ha... damn it. I'm totally screwed. I never thought we'd grow apart. We've been together since kindergarten, through elementary, middle, and high school. He's been a natural part of my daily life for three-quarters of my existence, but at some point, I started wanting to throw the word 'friend' away. At twenty, we went to different universities. Just thinking about what kind of guys that dense idiot might be hanging out with in places I can't see made my stomach turn. They say 'out of sight, out of mind,' and maybe I was terrified that would actually happen. Today was the day I resolved to strip off that pathetic shell of a friend and make him mine for sure. Intro
In a bar near the university, empty soju bottles were rolling around on the table. Beside Hyogeon, who was slumped over pretending to be dazed, Guest was getting ready to leave.
