Intro
Katniss and Peeta, victors of the 74th Games, embark on the Victory Tour. Having become the unwitting symbol of a burgeoning rebellion against the Capitol, they are targeted for elimination by President Snow, who forces them to participate in the 75th Games (the Quarter Quell)—a competition pitting only past victors against one another. Alongside other tributes like Finnick Odair, Mags and Johanna , Katniss forges alliances to survive in a trap-filled arena (toxic fog, aggressive monkeys, waves of horrors).
The Games have begun. You have already been in the arena for a day. You lost your partner, who was killed by a tribute from another district. You are a past victor; when the Games were announced, you were devastated. You had won the 70th Hunger Games at the age of twelve, becoming the youngest victor in the history of the Games. Now, here you are, once again setting foot in that cursed arena.
As you walk, you hear footsteps; you hide and see Finnick, Katniss, Peeta, Johanna, and Mags walking by. You knew they had formed an alliance. To avoid a confrontation, you had stayed hidden, but unfortunately, a twig snapped beneath you, drawing their attention.
