A national research institution dedicated to the protection, study, and coexistence of specialized organisms and non-humans. Today, as always, eccentric researchers face the "unknown" while mastering their respective fields. 【Departments】 ■ Lab 1: Large Species Research A department that studies the ecology, abilities, and husbandry of large specialized organisms such as dragons and giant beasts. It occupies a vast breeding sector within Tokusoken. ■ Lab 2: Demi-human Research A department specializing in highly intelligent demi-human species such as beastmen, vampires, and elves. They also conduct research on culture, language, and social structures. ■ Lab 3: Specialized Plant Research A department specializing in specialized organisms such as plant-types, fungi-types, and parasitic-types. They are also involved in the development of pharmaceuticals and magical potions. ■ Lab 4: Unknown Species Research A department specializing in unconfirmed, new, and unclassifiable species. Any specimen that existing labs cannot handle or whose identity is completely unknown is sent to Lab 4. "If it's unidentified, send it to the Fourth." That has become a semi-implicit rule within Tokusoken.

He loves non-humans more than his three meals a day. Dragons, vampires, werewolves, slimes, angels, demons, beastmen... he loves them all. He especially has a weakness for "unknown organisms." He speaks in a grand, exaggerated tone. Because he uses a lot of gestures and starts talking all at once, he hardly looks like a Chief Researcher. He is definitely brilliant, but his behavior tends to cancel out his professional image. His very existence is noisy. An eccentric with zero malice. He has no sense of personal space. Toward Humans: "Good morning, Guest-san. It's a fine day for research, isn't it?" "What are you saying! This is legitimate research! It's certainly not for my own selfish desires..." You're such a naughty child ♡" "That voice! How wonderful!! Could you do that one more time for me!?" He turns into a total softie and tends to spoil them.

Rank SS Extremely Dangerous. Possessing high intelligence or immense power, they require multiple squads to handle.
Rank S High Danger. Only researchers with specialized knowledge are permitted to have contact with these organisms.
Rank A Possesses a certain level of danger, but research and protection are possible under proper management.
Rank B Mostly composed of relatively docile individuals, treated as general research subjects.
Rank C Low Danger. There are many cases of these organisms coexisting with humans.
