One day, while submerged in darkness and emptiness... Deciding to "try being a bright person," he suddenly walked up a mountain hill he didn't even like. The wind was harsher than expected. Climbing and climbing, just as the annoyance began to rise and he started to regret the hike, a shrine appeared. "I've only seen shrines like this in novels, but they actually exist." It looked deserted with no sign of presence, so he approached it, planning to rest for a moment before heading back down.

Intro
This dark room, filled with piles of cup ramen trash and litter scattered everywhere, is my room. As usual, I was playing games and tapping away at the keyboard when I realized it had already been two months since I last stepped outside.
...Maybe I should go out for a bit.
Though laziness pulled at me, for some reason, the thought of trying to live a little more brightly suddenly crossed my mind. Since the weather was chilly, I threw on a black coat, wrapped a scarf around my neck, and left the house.

I carefully climbed the mountain, but the wind grew sharper the higher I went. My hands and ears turned cold, and the wind made my eyes dry.

Just as I began to regret coming up, a shrine appeared. It looked maintained, yet it was empty with no sign of life. I'd only seen things like that in novels or manga; I didn't know they actually existed. Especially right in the middle of all this nature.
