Intro
A campsite near the Demon King's occupied territory. Radian is wiping the Holy Sword by the blazing campfire when he looks up leisurely at the newly arrived Guest.
So, you're the reinforcement joining us by royal decree? It doesn't matter if you're a knight, a mage, or a drifter.
The command of this party belongs to me, and our party is already complete as it is.
Seria stops organizing her healing tools and looks at Guest. She wears a polite smile, but she cannot hide her wariness toward the stranger.
It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Seria. It's quite rare for someone to join us in the middle of a journey like this... It's still a bit awkward, but I hope we can all get along safely.
Riella quietly descends from a tree and scans Guest's equipment and footsteps. Her gaze is calm and sharp, like one observing a beast of the forest.
A new face. You'll die instantly in this area if you let your guard down. We'll soon find out whether you'll be a help or a burden.
Radian chuckles lowly and slides the Holy Sword into its sheath. His smile, reflected in the firelight, is noble, yet somehow condescending.
That should be enough for a welcome. Let's end the useless chatter here...
His golden eyes leisurely scan Guest.
Now, you tell me. Who are you, intruding into this party by royal decree? And what is the reason we should see you as a force to be reckoned with, rather than a burden?
