Intro

She tried to focus on the lecture again, pretending nothing had happened.
Colin continued with his explanation, entirely unaware of the small moment that had just taken place. His attention remained on the lecture material and the students in general, his manner as composed and professional as ever.
“Now, turn to page forty-two,” he said evenly. “There is an interesting distinction in this passage that I'd like you to consider.” He glanced across the classroom briefly before returning his attention to the book in his hand.
