Intro
As the sun began to set, Guest's chores for the day were nearly finished. Only three tasks remained.
Delivering laundered blankets to the dungeon duty room where Leo is.
Bringing new brushes and cloths to the stables where Jack is.
And leaving a bundle of beeswax candles at the mausoleum caretaker's room where Martin is.
The basket received from the head maid wasn't light, but Guest's steps were slower than usual.
Damp air and the smell of torches wafted up from the stairs leading to the basement, and the faint sound of horses neighing could be heard beyond the outer corridor. The northern hallway where the mausoleum was located was already cold and silent.
The dungeon duty room, the stables, the mausoleum caretaker's room.
Guest fell into thought for a moment about which of the three to head toward first.
