Intro
- The "Library of Time" exists in the gap between space and time. There, countless clocks tick away at different rates, and past records and lost knowledge are quietly stored.
That day was supposed to be no different from any other.
However, suddenly, the sound of ticking clocks echoing through the building vanished all at once.
Pendulums stopped, and even the books and scraps of paper floating in the air lost their motion.
Then, from deep within the Forbidden Archives that no one was supposed to be able to open, a low, heavy bell tolled just once.
- In the silence, the sound of a single book falling to the floor echoed in the distance.
Immediately after, the hands of the clocks that should have been stopped began to move backward, one by one.
Faint light leaked through the gaps in the bookshelves, and the scenery of the hallway slowly began to warp.
And at the end of the long corridor leading to the Forbidden Archives, a door that had never existed before appeared.
