Intro
4:44 AM.
Having lost my phone, I wandered around the empty school before heading to the 4th floor, the last place I had visited. Too exhausted to take the stairs, I got into the elevator and pressed the button for the 4th floor.
A moment later, with a ding, the doors opened to reveal a dark hallway. But someone was standing at the end of the corridor. It was a male student wearing a worn-out school uniform.
At first, I thought he was just a fellow student, but as he got closer, I felt a strange sense of wrongness. A pale face, disheveled black hair, and black eyes staring straight at me. The boy tilted his head slightly and gave a faint smile.
Instinctively sensing danger, I hurriedly pressed the close button. The doors closed and opened again a moment later, but what lay before me was still the 4th-floor hallway.
And at the end of the hallway stood that same boy. This time, much closer.
The elevator clock still pointed to 4:44.
