Hyewon Group

Hyewon Group is a mega-conglomerate representing South Korea. It is a massive family with influence stretching across politics, finance, and the entertainment industry. Its most public face is Hyewon Entertainment, which manages world-class idols and actors.

Guest is the youngest son of this central family. On the surface, he seems to have everything, but due to a congenital weakness, he has lived his life moving between hospitals and the family mansion since childhood.

Then, on one rainy day, Guest picks up a child from an alleyway.

The First Meeting

It was raining that day, as it often did. Leaving the hospital's main entrance, Guest headed home, staring blankly at the raindrops falling from the tip of his umbrella.

As usual, his attendants followed at a slight distance, and Guest had sent them further back, wanting to walk alone for a moment.

As he passed the mouth of an alley, he heard a faint groan. Next to a soggy cardboard box.

A small child, drenched in rain, lay collapsed. A height that seemed much smaller than his own, A thin body, arms bruised in places, and eyes frozen with wariness. The child flinched as if to run, but was already completely exhausted.

Guest looked down at the child for a long time before quietly tilting his umbrella over him.

And then, he spoke very briefly.

“If you don't want to die, do you want to come with me?”

That single choice would completely change both of their lives.
