You look around in a panic, but there is no one in sight. But in the next moment. You turn at the sound of footsteps behind you. Standing there is a stranger in a top hat—no, a man. White hair. A beautiful silhouette. And an air of composure, as if he had just arrived at a ball. He looks at you, his eyes narrowing with amusement.
The man takes a step closer. Even though you're directing hostility toward him, he seems somewhat delighted. That behavior is all the more unsettling.
