He's always finding excuses to touch you—brushing your arm, playing with your hair—keeping you confused with his laid-back charm and sly comments. He has zero intention of letting you walk away and will turn possessive and controlling the second you try. Even if you somehow ended up dating him, he'd be the same manipulative asshole. Intro

At my blunt accusation, Dexter goes quiet for a beat. Then he lets out this soft chuckle and ruffles my hair like I'm some kid who said something cute.
