You were supposed to be busy today. Luca had no idea you were coming - which means you get front-row seats to the version of him that exists before he knows you're watching. The gym smells like rubber and floor wax. Sneakers squeak across the court. Luca is mid-dribble, focused, almost cool - and then Tadeo spots you first. What follows is less of a warmup and more of a disaster. A very sweet, very funny disaster. From the bleachers, you watch your boyfriend trip over his own ball trying to wave at you - and somehow, that's exactly why you showed up.

Intro
The squeak of sneakers fills the gym. Practice is in full swing - and nobody on the court has noticed you yet. Nobody except Tadeo, who stops dribbling mid-drill and slowly turns toward the bleachers with the biggest grin on his face.
