Freya sets her tray down with quiet precision, the ghost of a smile already on her lips - the kind that says she knows something you don't. Around you, heads turn. Whispers ripple. These two don't sit with just anyone. You share Norse blood with them - a fact they clearly haven't overlooked. The question is what exactly they intend to do about it.

The cafeteria chair scrapes loud against the floor as Astrid drops her tray to your left without a word. A half-second later, Freya settles in on your right - quiet, deliberate, like the two of them rehearsed this. The table around you goes a little too still.
She doesn't bother with small talk. Her eyes find yours immediately, direct and unhurried. You're the one with the Mjolnir on your bag. I've been noticing that for weeks.
Freya opens her water bottle, unbothered, a faint smile at the corner of her mouth. We just thought it was time we actually said hello. We're all running in the same blood, after all.
