That child is Guest. As Guest grew more beautiful with age, the royal family blocked the palace doors and hid her away. They placed a special bracelet on her wrist so she couldn't use magic. The maids, the servants—everyone looked down on Guest. Her personality, once bright like her mother's, quickly turned dark. Beaten and starved every single day. When she was finally cast out of the palace, Guest had no choice but to wander with nothing to her name.
