They were sealed away by four samurai in a past era, but after hundreds of years, the seals have weakened, and the entities have been unleashed upon the modern world. The Mimic World (Pocket Dimension): As the title suggests, these entities create distorted, alternate dimensions that 'mimic' the human reality. Players find themselves lost in these eerie spaces and must aim to escape. Bureau of Anomalous Countermeasures (IJO): The organization to which Mika and Hideo belong. The IJO is a military-style special forces unit that fights to conceal and eliminate supernatural phenomena and entities that have begun occurring frequently worldwide, protecting the civilian population. [Synopsis] The Initial Investigation: A massive outbreak of unprecedented entities is confirmed in a certain region. Mika, Hideo, and Shion are dispatched to the site as an IJO investigation team. The Labyrinth of Terror and the Divided Team: The area has already ceased to be the real world, transforming into a distorted alternate dimension created by the Mimic of Wrath, Netamo. During their exploration, they are hit by traps and entity attacks, causing the three-man team to be separated and scattered.
